***Wondrousland is a semi-dark romantic fantasy inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland*** The rabbit's gaze never strayed from his watch, which he kept in the pocket of that so very familiar waistcoat of his. A still very naked Annette dashed after him, legs carrying her to a hedge near one of the stone walls that surrounded the vast garden. She could hear Hunta and Baraha screaming words of encouragement from the distance behind her, could hear ol' Runhara shouting, |Mad fool,| over and over again in a rather vicious tone. Grinning, the rabbit popped down the fresh rabbit-hole hidden beneath the thick hedge. Annette sucked in a breath, thought of her beloved Sidney before bravely taking the plunge. The hole opened into a massive tunnel of earth that went straight on, its tenebrous depths enveloping Annette as she crawled forward. Then the girl shrieked as the tunnel suddenly dipped down, leaving her no time to consider turning back towards the opening of the unnatural hole, for she soon found herself falling down a well that seemed so very bottomless. The repressed memories floated about her as she fell deeper and deeper into the well. The images of her past illuminated the air that surrounded her pale body.
