'Tyson and I: a journey through life and anger' is part biography of the former undisputed heavyweight champion, part autobiography of the author's own life and an examination of addictions, anger and destructive relationships, interspersed - incredibly - with humour! The book investigates racism; links between genetics and learned behaviour; the effects of childhood incidents upon the adult mind and the ability to learn to understand and control previously debilitating emotions. Ultimately, this book can be viewed on many different levels; as an overview of the career of one of the iconic all-time greats of boxing; as a guide to dealing with anger-management issues; as an examination of race in today's society; an honestanalysis of destructive addictions or, simply, as an enjoyable and amusing read.
